CRUIT Series 5K Video Light - Handheld

The CRUIT is a popular video dive light with our patented push button switch. This light is designed to accompany wide angle video camera systems, including the GoPro and Paralenz. The CRUIT produces a super bright 5,000 lumens at an intensity of 791 lux and a color temperature of ~5,500 kelvin.

The wide even footprint of the beam (120 degrees) brings color alive at any depth. When accompanied by the AUDACIOUS, with matching color temperatures, you can increase coverage as well as reduce backscatter and shadows.

The red filter, KNOCKBOY, can be attached to prevent fish from swimming away.

Our dive light got its name from Cruit Island. The waters around the various off-shore islands offer exciting opportunities to explore caves and a number of local wrecks. The waters are incredibly clear and unpolluted.

·         On full power the output of the CRUIT is a whopping 5,000 theoretical lumens, 2400 lumens when measured in the integrating sphere.

·         The light comes with an SOS mode which is a safety feature.

·         The expected burn time at 100% output is 60 minutes.

·         Three output intensity levels of 100%, 50% and 25% enables very long duration over multiple dives or extended duration when battery is low.

·         Flashing Red – less than 10%.

·         When the battery level gets very low the torch shuts down saving the battery memory. This battery protection makes sure that you can have many more dives without needing to replace the battery.

·         The light has rechargeable 32650 lithium battery sourced direct from Panasonic.

·         It takes 6 hours to charge the battery from empty using our 1A USB battery charger.

·         The light has an overheat protection. It turns off automatically should the light head get too hot. This saves burning out the LED and electronics.

·         Double and Triple O-Ring design ensures water tightness even at extreme depths.

·         The aviation grade anodized aluminium gives strength and longevity.
