The Low Pressure (LP) 3/8 inch Male to 1/2 inch Female UNF adaptor enables you to connect a 1/2" Male end LP hose to any dive regulator that has 3/8" Female ports.

Connect a 1/2" LP regulator hose to a 3/8" LP first stage regulator port.

Most low-pressure hoses are 3/8-inch Male and most first stage low-pressure ports are 3/8-inch Female. A few brands of first stages have a special low-pressure port that is 1/2-inch Female, notably some Apex and older Aqualung models. Thus there are non-standard low pressure hoses with 1/2-inch Male ends to connect to these special regulator ports. This adaptor lets you use those hoses on a standard 3/8" regulator port.

The 3/8"-24 UNF Male end of this LP adaptor screws into a standard LP port on a first stage regulator.

The 1/2"-20 UNF Female end of this LP adaptor accepts the 1/2"-20 UNF Male end of a non standard LP hose that normally screws into a non standard LP port on a first stage regulator.
