Cotol-240 ™ does two things - it allows urethane adhesives to dry faster and cleans fabrics and surfaces before repair, allowing urethane adhesives to create maximum bonding. Use Cotol-240 with Aquaseal® for quick, permanent wetsuit and drysuit repairs.

The solvent cleans and prepares the surface for Aquaseal ®, speeding the curing process to 15 minutes and the full curing process to less than two hours. Cotol-240 is also ideal for removing tar, sap, glue and other resins from various surfaces such as glass, plastic and metal.

• Use as a pre-repair cleaner for maximum adhesion

Cotol-240 ™ for use with Aquaseal ® Urethane Repair Glue, Seam Grip ® Outdoor Repair Glue & Seam Sealer and Freesole ® Urethane Repair Glue:

As a pre-cleaner:

1. Apply a small amount to the damaged area (test on a small area for colorfastness).

2. Wipe with a clean cloth until dry.

3. Repeat steps 1 and 2.

4. Apply Aquaseal as directed. Note: For best adhesion, first roughen non-fabric surfaces with sandpaper.

AS ACCELERATOR:

1. Mix 1 part curing accelerator with 3-4 parts Aquaseal ® using a stick, toothpick, or knife. Mix on a non-absorbent surface, such as a plastic lid or plate.

2. Immediately apply the mixture to the damaged area.

3. Allow the repair to cure completely (at least 2 hours) before use.

For coloring: Before applying, mix food coloring or paint dye (available at paint stores) through Aquasure and the accelerator.

CLEANING: To remove Aquaseal ® from hands, use a cloth with paint thinner, nail polish remover or 99% isopropyl alcohol.

STORAGE: Tighten the cap securely. Store in a cool, dry place. Use blister card packaging for storage.
