ACD (Auto Closure Device) automatically closes the first stage when the regulator is removed from the cylinder. As soon as it is disconnected from the cylinder valve, the first stage is isolated from the environment.

The first stage is protected on the inside against water entries and contaminants, that even if your regulator falls into the boat, is plunged in the rinse tank or stored without the dust cap. However, we recommend you to use the dust cap to protect the connection from shocks.

ACD is the best protection against corrosive water entries.

It is a safety device which preserves the way your regulator operates. Water entries lead to performance degradation of your regulator and its accessories: pressure gauges, computers consoles, a.s.o.

ACD is the best protection against contaminants from outside. It is a safety device when diving Nitrox.

ACD doesn’t alter the respiratory performance and preserves them. The feature is offered on yoke 232 Bar and DIN 300 Bar connections.
