Gue is an organization that focuses on training technical divers.
The Fundamentals course is intended for experienced divers who want to join the GUE organization. This course is ideally suited to perfect your current knowledge and skills and to get to know GUE as an organization. You can choose whether you want to do Fundamentals ‘recreational’ or ‘technical’. If you want to do technical or cave diving at GUE, fundamentals with a ‘tech rating’ is a requirement.
The course consists of four days of training focused on the basics; posture/position, fin strokes, diving in a team, gas sharing and ascents. The first day mainly consists of theory, workshops and a swimming test. The other three days you will be in the water a lot, alternating with ‘field drills’ and video debriefings.
It is also possible to split this course into two parts; level 1 and level 2. If you find the course too intensive or are unable to plan four days, this may be a good solution.
For participants who are already certified to dive to 30 meters, it is possible to follow the extra module 'Triox'. On this day you will receive additional explanation about the advantages of helium in combination with diving to a depth of 30 meters and you will make two experience dives with trimix 30/30. The use of helium provides a much lower narcosis and will certainly provide much more peace and pleasure during strenuous deep dives with a high workload. If you do not yet have a certificate for 30 meters or have already done Fundamentals, the Triox Primer can also be followed later and will then consist of two days in which you will make a total of four dives.

The GUETech 1 course is absolutely unique in its kind. You will learn to dive to a maximum of 51 meters, with trimix and a decompression gas. However, you are not bound to a fixed schedule underwater. With the help of 'ratio deco' your plan is flexible and your decompression strategy simple, while the dives with a maximum of 30 minutes decompression are quite tough.
In this 6-day course you will learn how to deal with problems, leaks, lost equipment and how to tackle all this in a team. Before you start with the experience dives you will get theory, field drills and some solid skills sessions in shallow water. A perfect location for this course is Croatia (Krnica) because of the good logistics and the amazing wrecks, but the rest of the world is also possible in consultation.
